Standard 2017 Titan models come equipped with an Endurance 5.6L 32-valve V8 engine capable of an impressive 390 horsepower. Paired with a responsive seven-speed automatic transmission, the new Titan comes with enough power to satisfy most drivers in this class. 

Towing and Payload 

There aren't any alternative engine options available on the 2017 Titan, but buyers seem plenty satisfied with what the 5.6L V8 has to offer in terms of towing and payload. Rated with a maximum towing capacity of 9,740 pounds, and a maximum payload capacity of 1,940 pounds, the 2017 Titan is more than capable of pulling your favorite toy up to the cabin for a weekend getaway.

One of the biggest changes made to the full-size pickup truck segment in the past several years, isn't under the hood - but rather inside the cabin. Featuring a completely restyled interior, the 2017 Titan feels more like a luxury sedan, than it does a capable pickup. 
More Spacious Layout

Before the Nissan design team was able to outfit the new Titan with premium soft-touch materials and technology, they were tasked with creating a more spacious cabin layout. 

The result? An intelligently designed space with seating for up to six passengers, and plenty of storage accommodations for all of their things. Increased legroom of up to 41.8-inches, and 40.9-inches of front head room, even the tallest passengers find the redesigned layout of the Titan comfortable and accommodating. 

One of the most substantial changes to the Titan's interior layout, is the restyled front center stack. Nissan designers relocated the shift lever to the steering column, giving drivers extra room in the center console of the pickup. For easy access to all front storage spaces, the 2017 Titan's glove compartment handle was relocated so that drivers can easily open and close it without having to overextend, or unbuckle. The center console is large enough to store a small laptop, ensuring that everything you need is within arm's reach.

Drivers and passengers will appreciate the detail that went into designing the interior cabin. Made with high quality soft touch materials, the 2017 Titan includes one of the most luxurious interiors of any pickup truck in its segment.
