Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection
Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection uses audio and visual signals to alert the driver and will even apply the vehicle's brakes to help avoid a collision with any object or person.High Beam Assist
The High Beam Assist feature of Nissan Safety Shield 360 conveniently and automatically turns the vehicle's high beam down to the low beam when it senses any oncoming traffic, assisting drivers during night driving.Rainy bad weather on busy roads at night calls for concentration, and this active feature allows the driver to focus on keeping things on the road. Once the oncoming traffic is passed, the system switches the headlights back to the high beam when needed.

Lane Departure Warning
While we all think we are the greatest driver out there, sometimes we get it wrong, and a momentary lapse of concentration will see us accidentally wander outside of our lane. ÂNissan Safety Shield's Lane Departure Warning feature can alert drivers when they drift from their lane. A visual and audible alert warns the driver to move back to the center of their lane.
Blind Sport Warning
Vehicles are not like goldfish bowls with 360-degree views out, and sometimes drivers can't quite see everything that's next to a vehicle.ÂThe Blind Spot Warning system incorporates radar sensors fitted on the sides of the rear bumper to detect vehicles in adjacent detection zones to assist drivers.Â
The system will alert the driver with a chime so they can change lanes with confidence.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
Backing out of a parking spot into fast-moving traffic is, at most times, a nightmare made worse when parked next to another vehicle that's blocking your view.ÂThe Rear Cross Traffic Alert system assists in these situations and can alert the driver to approaching cars that might be out of sight, allowing for easier maneuvering out of a parking spot.

Rear Automatic Braking
Nissan Safety Shield 360 also provides drivers with an extra level of protection by helping to avoid or lessen the impact of a rear collision. The Rear Automatic Braking system can detect any stationary object when backing up and will automatically engage the brakes if it detects something and the driver fails to stop.
Drivers should at all times remain alert and aware of what's happening on the road around them. Nissan Safety Shield 360 is an extra set of eyes, adding an extra layer of confidence for safe and incident-free travel.
