There are a few updates for the 2023 model year for the Nissan Versa. This vehicle has some updates with its infotainment system, as well as some new standard features and some refreshed exterior styling. For example, this vehicle has some new available infotainment features like a Wi-Fi hotspot. 


 

2023 Nissan Versa Interior

On the inside of the Nissan Versa, you have seating for five people in two rows of seats. It has standard cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats, but there are available interior upgrades like premium cloth upholstery, heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. 


Also on the interior, you'll find ample cargo space given the subcompact size of the 2023 Nissan Versa. This vehicle offers you 14.7 cubic feet of trunk space on its base model, but you can get up to 15 cubic feet of cargo space on upper models. You also have available 60/40 split-folding rear seats to give you the ability to stow longer or larger items in your cargo area.

Performance and Powertrain

Under the hood of the 2023 Nissan Versa, you can find a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. This engine produces 122-horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with a standard five-speed manual transmission and an available continuously variable automatic transmission. This vehicle is equipped with standard front-wheel drive.

Safety and Driver-Assistance Features

There are a lot of great standard safety features found in the Nissan Versa. Your 2023 Versa comes standard with technology features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Siri Eyes Free, a voice recognition system, Bluetooth, three USB ports, and a four-speaker audio system. The Virtual Key lets you lock and unlock, as well as remotely start your vehicle through your smartphone. Fuel Economy and MPG

When it comes to efficiency, the Nissan Versa is working for you. This vehicle can give you its best fuel efficiency with the continuously variable automatic transmission; this transmission helps you get 32 city and 40 highway miles per gallon. With the manual transmission, this vehicle gives you slightly less MPG with 27 city and 35 highway miles per gallon. 

Nissan Versa Trim Levels and Pricing

There are three different trim levels for the 2023 Nissan Versa: the S, SV, and SR. The S trim is available with the manual or continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), while the other trims are just available with the CVT. Learn more about each trim level below.

S 5-Speed M/T (Manual Transmission)

The base trim is the Versa S. When this is found with the manual transmission, it starts at a price of $15,830. This vehicle has standard features like cloth upholstery, manually adjustable front seats, a 7-inch touchscreen, voice recognition, Bluetooth, three USB ports, Siri Eyes Free, and a four-speaker audio system. You also get standard safety features like a rearview camera, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, automatic high-beam headlights, lane departure warning, and forward and reverse collision warning. 


You do have the option to add an Electronics package to your Versa S. This package will cost you $880, and it will add features like ambient interior LED lighting, a universal garage door opener, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. 

S CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission)

The continuously variable automatic transmission costs you $1,670 to add to the S trim, so you are looking at a starting price of $17,500 for this trim with the CVT. Otherwise, it has all the same features as those listed for the S trim above, and it also has the availability of the Electronics package as mentioned above. 

SV

The Nissan Versa SV is your next trim option. This trim will start at a price of $19,120. It comes standard with the CVT, and it adds other features as well. This trim adds technology features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 7-inch driver information display, wireless device charging, remote keyless entry, satellite radio, and a push-button start. Additional safety features include rear door alert, rear cross traffic alert, driver attention monitoring, and blind spot monitoring. This trim also adds upgraded cloth upholstery, 60/40 split-folding rear seats, and 16-inch alloy wheels. You can add a Virtual Key for just $450.

SR

Your top level trim is the Versa SR. The SR will cost you $19,820. This vehicle will carry over the features from the previous trim, but it adds features like premium cloth upholstery, heated front seats, an 8-inch touchscreen, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, LED headlights, remote start, 17-inch alloy wheels, and adaptive cruise control. 


Which trim level is right for you? All could be great options, the trim you choose depends on your needs. The CVT does offer you better fuel economy, so if that is important to you, it could be worth jumping up to a trim that offers you that. It also could be worth jumping up at least to the SV to get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to easily connect to your infotainment system.
